Neither plant nor animal; mushrooms are truly astounding. In this workshop, we explore the surrounding forest and learn, among other things, how mushrooms live, what role they play in our ecosystems and where they are being used in our day-to-day life.

This guided tour in easy language is entrusted Roby the hand puppet. Roby loves games and the fairy-tale saga of the „Kropemann“ (literally ’hookman’ - a bogey-man like creature).. He also likes to show guests the fortress courtyard, the crypt and the old church, all of which are accessible by lift.

This guided discovery tour is suitable for families with children aged 6 to 12. The tour guide takes even the youngest participants on a journey of discovery through Useldange Fortressin a playful, easy-to-understand manner.

The educational cultural trail around the fortress is especially designed for people with visual impairment and was created under the auspices of UNESCO. Model buildings of the fortress, the old church and the circular route are available for touching.

During this guided tour, amongst others, the following historical sights will be visited: the town park, the parish church and the small museum in the castle chapel. The route can be adapted to the wishes of the participants as well as to the weather conditions.

Visit of the church of Saint Willibrord (10th century). The frescoes from the 15.th and 16th century in the St Willibrord church in Rindschleiden are impressive.
