This nature reserve holds a vast variety of plants and animals. This former open-pit mine possesses a unique terrain with a changing scenery, rock cliffs and a viewpoint overlooking the industrial landscape of Esch/Belval.

The sports and adventure youth hostel is located on the Echternach lake and has its own climbing wall. Initiation courses are regularly offered here for children, young people and adults. Children/young people up to 15 years included only if accompanied by a full-paying adult!

1,5-hour climbing activity for max. 10 children aged between 5 and 9 years on the indoor climbing wall with a trainer. This includes: Knot tying, safety techniques and fun. At least 3-4 accompanying adults must be present. Afterwards there is a delicious birthday cake in the restaurant.
