Further information

Wellenstein, a dreamy little winegrowing village with winding alleyways and a historical gem.

Let yourself be seduced by the charm of this village and learn more about the origins of the famous Wellentstein funfair, which is very popular with the locals.

After the entertaining tour, we will pay a visit to the René Bentz winery and explore its modern and well thought-out architecture. We will get an insight into the heart of their wine production and learn lots of interesting facts about wine, the much-loved Crémant and also the planning and construction. To top it all off, we can round off the afternoon with a cosy wine tasting and, of course, buy the fine wines for our loved ones at home.

The tour lasts approx. 3 hours.

The Moselle region of Luxembourg is also a member of the Council of Europe's certified Cultural Route ‘Iter Vitis’. This Cultural Route brings together wine-growing regions in more than 20 countries, representing the great variety of European territories and oenological landscapes. In Luxembourg, Iter Vitis runs alongside the Moselle river, and this region is the cradle of great Luxembourg wines. From Schengen to Wasserbillig, vineyard walks and guided tours of wine cellars give visitors a better understanding of Luxembourg's viticulture.
