The Slate Museum offers a captivating experience both above and below ground. Visitors have the opportunity to learn the art of slate cutting as practiced by the "Leekëpperten" in the past. After hand-cutting the slate slab, visitors can unleash their creativity with manual airbrush techniques. This self-cut slate slab can then be decorated according to individual taste.
- For families with children aged 8 and older
- Bring sturdy shoes and a warm jacket (the temperature in the mine is a constant 9°C)
